Pepe

Pepe is a short documentary portrait of Pepe Sanchez, a rancher and a cowboy who made his living by way of operating heavy machinery. He’s lived in the mountains of Malibu, under the shadow of Old Boney Mountain, for over 100 years after immigrating from Mexico at only 6 months old.

This short documentary explores the love that’s born of a continuity of place, and the hard work needed to bring a dream to life.
